PLEASE READ: Everything in this list is not to be taken as medical advice. I am simply showing what things have helped me with my LC symptoms. If you come across something that you think might help, please speak with a licensed medical professional about it. That being said, I'll share a little bit of my history. I've been dealing with post-COVID issues since January 2021. Today (as of June 2024), I'm about 85% recovered. The symptoms that I still have are mild fatigue, sensitivity to light and touching certain things, occasional brain fog, frequent urination, and body pains. I had a lot of other symptoms (chest pain, SOB, air hunger, heart palpitations, etc.) in the past that eventually resolved on their own, so in this list, I will share some things that I did to help with certain issues. I've had little success with traditional western medicine and am now getting relief with integrative/functional/eastern medicine. You may notice that some of the things in this list seem rather “woo woo” or full of quackery, but I implore you to keep an open mind. I was once in that resistant mindset until I gave these things a try.
I was diagnosed (via a scalp biopsy) with Androgenetic Alopecia that was triggered by an episode of Telogen Effluvium. I've been dealing with hair loss for about 2 years now, but I have finally started to see serious regrowth in the last few months. I have cats, so I cannot take minoxidil (and I didn't want to have to take such a heavy pharmaceutical for the rest of my life to maintain my hair growth). I did start taking a low dose of spironolactone as prescribed by my derm as well as using all of these products consistently. In addition to the scalp and hair treatments, I also massively increased my protein and omega-3 intake. If you are also on a hair loss journey, I wish you all the best and I hope something here helps you as much as it has me. Losing hair can be emotionally devastating it was intensely traumatizing for me. Take good care of yourself and know that it is possible to see results with consistency <3
