These are some of my favorite spots I stopped in the few trips I've taken to California!
Map
Make sure you visit this cool spot and see if your car can fit through! I did slice my mirror while trying to record so pay attention!
Klamath Tour Thru Tree
The nature here was incredible, and the trail was very quiet, so walking through was heavily just listening to nature and looking at the beauty.
Muir Woods National Monument
Be prepared to walk up hillsss, also do the trolly ride! The city has a lot to offer, make sure you stop at local spots for fun new treats to try.
San Francisco
I am a sucker for a cool bridge. We snuck up to a spot overlooking the beauty and sat to take it all in. Definitely try to go on a sunny day if you can.
Golden Gate Bridge
Okay this is a fun place to go to when you're in San Francisco. It's known for being the "crookedest street" in the world, can't race down that in a car!
Lombard Street
Rodeo drive baby 👓 go have your Pretty Women moment in the most beautiful shopping spot in Beverly Hills.
Rodeo Drive
Check out your favorite celebrity's hollywood star and make sure to grab a picture with it. There are a lot of local street artists along this road, maybe pict up a cool local piece while you're there.
Hollywood Walk of Fame
This is a cool hike to take to see the sign. Make sure you get your picture with the classic Hollywood sign.
Hollywood Sign
It was so cool to see that this pier was the end of route 66. There was so much going on between street artists, good spots, and carnival rides. You have to check out the pier if you're nearby.
Santa Monica Pier
Yummy spot for an iced chai. It's kind of a hidden gem tucked away, but great for a pastry and drink when walking through the town.
Toby's Feed Barn
Yummy breakfast spot. It's pretty small but don't let that fool you. The breakfast is delicious.
Tea Room Cafe
Can't beat the views, top tier food as well. They didn't name it the sunset restaurant for nothing, the best time to go was for dinner and watch the sun go down on the beach.
The Sunset Restaurant
One of the cutest 50s theme diners I have ever been to. The staff is so sweet, the vibes are top tier, and the food was delicious. Don't forget to grab a milkshake before you leave.
Frisco's Carhop Drive-Thru
Such a fun spot to check out and visit the oldest McDonald's. I really love stopping in at unique places like this, definitely worth going to see.
McDonald's
Great spot to do some serious shopping while in Los Angeles. They have all the traditional stores a typical mall would have, plus some! Lots of good spots to stop at for a bite to eat.
The Grove
I'm a sucker for a weird roadside attraction. Definitely pop in and check this place out if you're driving along route 66.
Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch
Stunny spot to drive through. The way the trees come together to form a tunnel is just beautiful.
Cypress Tree Tunnel
A must visit while you're in San Francisco. Such a fun and unique strip of colorful houses, it's a fun place to check out.
The Painted Ladies
I love visiting all of the "world's largest" things. This was a fun spot along the highway.
The World's Tallest Thermometer
This spot was a cute 40s style diner. The waitresses were so sweet and welcoming. Love the vibes in here and the food was yummy. Make sure you get a shake before you head out.
